Doghouse Group is a collective of smart people with a mission to design and build impactful software solutions for the global stage. We’re a diverse business that is led by our digital agency driving and facilitating an innovative stream of SaaS products and services.

As an agency we work in numerous sectors from education and federal government through to technology start-ups. Our product development includes both government technology (District CMS) and software management applications that are rapidly changing how we approach user experience.

We are looking for an individual who lives and breathes good design, and shares the notion that building a great user experience is an ongoing iterative process.

You would be joining an existing tight knit team of talented individuals scattered across most major Australian capital cities.

So, what are we looking for? Let’s keep its simple:

  • Someone who loves working with users to help elevate and improve product with real user research
  • Can confidently run and execute workshops for requirements gathering and user research activities such as card sorting
  • Deep understanding of modern research and design tools, most notably Figma and Optimal Workshop, with an eagerness to explore new tools
  • Open to collaboration, receptive to feedback and an interest in mentorship

Our expectations

  • Excellent survey writing and workshop facilitation skills
  • Research, wireframe, and prototype user centered solutions
  • Develop highly detailed wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Build Information Architecture (IA) that meets the needs of stakeholders and their customers
  • A portfolio or examples / case studies of previous work. Experiments welcomed!

If you don’t tick all these boxes at this stage, we still warmly welcome your application for future career opportunities.

We have high quality offices in both the Melbourne and Perth CBDs, which enables us to offer candidates in Australia the choice of working full time remote, onsite at our offices (subject to COVID guidelines), or under a flexible hybrid arrangement with the ability to work both in and out of the office each week.

Doghouse is an equal opportunity employer and we embrace diversity as we believe it’s what drives our success. Our combined backgrounds, perspectives and skills are at the heart of our company’s character. We are also a COVID responsible employer and have implemented rock solid policies enforcing social distancing, including appropriate remote working arrangements where and when COVID regulations are in force.

We look forward to meeting you.
